The Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst is about to celebrate its grand reopening: after almost two years of renovations, the internationally renowned institution is moving back to the Löwenbräukunst-Areal. June 11–17, during the Löwenbräukunst preview, the public is invited to take a first look at the exhibition rooms. For this special event, Ragnar Kjartansson has created a performance developed specifically for the new exhibition space. The official inauguration will be held on August 31, 2012, with the opening of Ragnar Kjartansson’s first solo show in Switzerland.
