HIP: Special Guest Susann Walder

“HIP” is a compilation of works documenting the most recent acquisitions of the Museum of Contemporary Art. Susann Walder is acting as “Special Guest”. Walder's new exhibit and new purchases from the last two years make up a course featuring a variety of atmospheres. Neither the art collection, nor the ambience are distinctively “hip”, even though this expression quite effectively defines a lifestyle background for artistic output in the late 1990s. In this exhibition, the closeness to reality of modern art is picked out and emphasised as a central theme.
