Stefan Banz: Gulliver

22. January 2000  – 19. March 2000

Featuring artworks by:
Stefan Banz

Stefan Banz (*1961, lives in Lucerne) works directly from his private space. Since 1987 his artistic interest has been centred on his own family. Not least for reasons of economy – Banz describes himself as having a dual role as a father bringing up his children and as an artist. In the migros museum, the Swiss artist is presenting his “Gulliver” project. This covers both groups of work from recent years and also a new installative work which fills several rooms. The approach is always conceptual, and Banz’s creations incorporate photography, video, installation art, painting and text.
