The film Escape Artists (2016, 38 min.) by artist Guy Ben-Ner documents a series of film workshops that this artist conducted at the refugee camp Holot, Israel, over a period of around two years. In the context of the screening, a talk will be held between the artist and Dr Jörg Scheller.

Guy Ben-Ner (b. 1969 in Ramat Gan, Israel) is an Israeli video artist. He studied art in Ramat HaSharon (Israel) and New York (USA). Since the 1990s, he has made several videos, for instance about himself and his family, some of which are exhibited along with props as installations. He represented Israel at the Venice Biennale in 2005. The venues of his solo exhibitions have included the Center for Contemporary Art Tel Aviv (2006) and the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (2009).

Jörg Scheller (b. 1979) is an art scholar, journalist, musician and part-time bodybuilder. He runs the Theory section of the Bachelor of Art & Media programme at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). Additionally, he is the vocalist and bassist in the metal duo Malmzeit and in the regressive rock duo The Silver Ants.
